We're going to try to have another baby in september, I've got girls names on my mind a lot lately and i'm wondering what you think:

I prefer just plain Brooke.

My dislike of Brooklyn aside, I think the -yn/-in sounds are too matchy. I am a lazy speaker, so I have this problem with many of the names that end in N.

i think brooklyn is a stupid name but the best place ever.

just the fact that posh spice named her son brooklyn should be enough to deter any sane person.

why if you love it that much why dont you name her brooke lynn
(this is sort of a joke and sort of not, i actually knew someone with this name who told people her name was plain brooklyn. meh)

Not my favorite... but it's alright, I guess?

I didn't vote on the second question, because none of the choices applies to me. I would have liked a "none of the above" option.

I really dislike Brooklyn to begin with, but apart from that I really do think that Brooklyn Loftin would just be too matchy-matchy.

Doesn't go with Loftin because they both end with the "in" sound

I've got a friend named Elizabeth Brooke that sounds good.

yeah, I just want it noted that I picked the second option, associating it with the city, but I do NOT think Brooklyn is a trashy city! Its a great place!

I thought it was a boys name.

I really like Brooklyn, but I like it better for boys. And I've never known a girl with that name, just Brooklyn Beckham.

Brooklyn Loftin does sound a bit odd.

If you really love the name Brooklyn, maybe you could use Brooke instead? I think Brooke Loftin sounds lovely!

What about Brooke Lynn Loftin? That doesn't really eliminate the yn/in repetition, but she would most likely be known as Brooke Loftin.
