[identity profile] misohappi.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I'm due in September..my new married last name is "super" long. Has three syllables. Most people pronounce it all funny ways (it's an Indonesian surname)
so I'm thinking that our baby should have a short cute first name. Easy to pronounce and spell so not to get all trippy and confusing with our last name. Maybe one or two syllables for a first name.

So far for a boy:
Max --short, cute, masculine and easy to pronounce and easy to spell..sounds easy flowing with our last name.

For a girl???

Any ideas? It does not matter the origin of the first name for girl or boy.
Thanks guys!

I like Max:) Other ideas: Luke, Jack, Beau, Dean, Miles, Paul, James, Ian, Evan

For girls: Anna, Ivy, Kate/Cate, Rose, Jane, Beth, Lily, Lia/Leah, Lucy

You could also always go for names that are longer but that are commonly shortened: Matthew/Matt, Samuel/Sam, Nathan/Nate, Michael/Mike, etc. for boys and Samantha/Sam, Catherine/Cate, etc. for girls.
