Stella Lilian Pearl [Trenholm]

* Lilian for my mom (Karen): Lilian meaning lilies, a symbol of purity, which is the meaning of Karen.
* Pearl for my aunt: Pearl is her birthstone (June).

The name, with the exception of Pearl, sounds very Swedish.

i don't like stella, but i like the rest.

For me, it is too many L's. Kind of a mouthful. But then again, they are only middle names, so they aren't going to be called Stelle Lillian Pearl everyday.

Other names that mean or imply pure:
Caitlyn
Caitrin
Cathleen
Katherine

I really like Stella Katherine Pearl/Stelle Katherine June

You've been looking for a name for a long time. I think it fits with your style and what you've been searching for. While you made not decide on it definitively when the time comes, it's a solid option. Congratulations on that. :)

I don't like 2 middle names, but otherwise, I like it. I really love the name Pearl.

Too many L's..
it's really difficult to say.
I think it's the combination of Stella Lillian..

I really like the middle names as I think they flow really well together (and my second middle name is also Pearl ;).

I usually prefer Lilia to Lilian, but Lilian works better with Stella. Stella I'm a bit iffy about...and because I'm procrastinating my work (research project), I Nymblered it

Some of them sound a like: (I * the ones I like)
Della/Adela*
Annabel/Annabella
Mirabelle*
Estella
Amalya*
Winifred*
Emmeline*/Emily
Esther* (also means star)
Millie/Millicent* (but a bit much with the middle names)
Frieda
Molly

The last few weeks with my daughter, my husband and I debated about names forever - she was 'A' or 'baby' for about three days (both our choices begn with A). I hope the best for you.

A week! Didn't realize it was so soon, just knew it was coming up.

We're having a hard enough time coming up with options and it's not for quite a while.

I think there is definitely some value in waiting to see the little one in the flesh.

Best, best, best of luck!

I think the Stella Lillian part has a lot of L's, it's almost hard to say it out loud. But then again, how often will you (or the child) say all her names out loud? =)
I like the idea of honouring someone in another way than just throwing their name in the mix.

I've never liked Stella. Forgive me but it's always had the stripper name connotation for me. Like Candy and Jasmine.

I like Lilian Pearl, though. And Trenholm is a very nice last name, lol.

From memorymaze's suggestions:
Caitlin June
Caitlin Pearl
Katherine June
Catherine June
Katherine Pearl
Catherine Pearl

The nice thing about those names is that Katie, Catie, Kate, Cate, Kat, Cat, CJ, are all potential nicknames. But I'm big on nicknames so maybe that's just me.

Note: Pearls also symbolize purity, so just going with Stella Pearl Trenholm could work.

But I also like Stella Lillian Pearl Trenholm, which is strange; I usually hate multiple middle names.

Some other names that mean "pearl" (and therefore would symbolize both your mom and your aunt) are Greta, Margaret, and Megan (and variants of all those). I like Stella Margot Trenholm, myself.

stella flows well with it, no doubt. the name in its entirety sounds really good.

i agree. it's really hard to say.
but all three names are gorgeous. stella lillian is just super tongue twisty.
why not stella karen pearl? that would be a lovely combination as well, and honor your mom and aunt. or stella katherine pearl?

I don't like Katherine, but it does sound rather lovely in this combonation.

Stella Cassia Pearl/Stella Catrin Pearl would get my votes though- Variants of Katherine, also meaning purity.

:-)

Stella Lillian is too L-heavy. What about Stella Pearl Lillian?

I think just Lillian Pearl is beautiful. :) The Stella does make it a bit of a mouthful, but overall it too is lovely.

We went with Alexandra, it just seemed to fit her better than Arella.

It's not bad to have a Swedish sounding name. I personally don't like the first names, although there's nothing wrong with them. =)
