Mispelled. It's Serafina. Also my grand-grand-father's name.

sorry I meant grand-grand-mother :D
although she was married to Serafino, so I wasn't far.

Or Seraphina. I like it for the celestial reference, but I think it's a bit elaorate in that for. Sarafina/Serafina looks better, but It's not as pretty to me.

That said, I like Serafina better than Sarafina. Just too many 'a's for my liking, I think

I like it. I prefer the spelling Seraphina but anyway I do particularly like it. I was just thinking about it the other day.

I like Seraphina because I know an adorably feisty little Seraphina.

I like it...but for some reason it reminds me of bottled water. *lol* That's probably just me though.

Overly frilly for my tastes, like Angelica (which has a similar meaning, oddly enough!)
Also like Arabella. I know a lot of people like it but I can't help but picture with a name like that, a little girl in 7 layers of frill and lace with perfect curls in her hair and... just too much for me.

I think I prefer Seraphina, but I like Serafina, too. It's very pretty. :)

I love the name Serafina so much. I forgot how much until this post!

Lol. That would so not be my Serafina. She is rough and tumble, always on the go for mischief with a wicked sense of humor, and hates frill and the color pink.

Lol well then, I guess it's an ironic name, like how Angelica on Rugrats is anything but angelic!

Serafina is based on Seraphin which means "fiery ones" I think it really sums up my kid.

But I do believe a "seraph" is an angel or a kind of angel. Maybe a feiry angel?

A Seraphim is a really high ranking angel, but still in Hebrew, the name means "fiery ones" Giving the name only the definition of angel is shorting the name of original meaning in this case.

Ah, okay then. I knew I wasn't crazy, but I wasn't familiar with the details, thanks for clarifying!
