What name could Tacy be a nickname for? And what could Betsy be a nickname for (besides Elizabeth)?

There's a children's book called Betsy~Tacy, and in the book Tacy's real name is Anastacia, but I don't like that name.
I think they're very cute names, but I'd like for my (non-existent, hypothetical) daughter to have a more adult-sounding name also.

And you can give me your opinions on the names, I know some of you will hate them: )

I loved those books! I think Tacy is a really cute name. Like the above poster, it could be a nickname for Stacy, since Stacy comes from Anastacia too. And Betsy could be a nickname for Bettina.

Betsy could be a nickname for Bethany.

Tacy could be a nickname for Theresa or Teresa? or Tate? or Tabitha (that seems like a stretch).

I think Betsey also works for Bette, Bettina, Beata, Benedetta, Bernadette, Bessa, Boadecia, Beatrice. I can't think of any more. I really like it for Elisabeth best.
