Preferred Spelling/Variation: Adele, just like you have it. This is the right spelling. You could do Adela, too, but people might get confused and spell it in a million strange ways.

Nicknames You Like: Della maybe? But it's great simply as Adele.

Combo's You Like: meh, I'm not into middle names much, as they rarely get used. Honour a grandmother or something :)

Opinions: I think it's a very nice name.

Opinions: i love this name. i found out about this name when i lived in Quebec... there's a town in the Laurentians called Sainte Adele and there's signs for it all over the place (i've never been there though, i don't think). when i saw the name i instantly fell in love with it. i love french names. :D

Adele. Love it as it, no nns. It reminds me of the little girl in Jane Eyre. I just think it's a beautiful, romantic classy name. It *is* the name of my very old great-aunt, but somehow the literary character supercedes my own relative as an association.

One of my middlenames is Adèle, after my grandmother who's called Adela. I love it. I'm naming my child (if I ever have one) some form of Adela.

My whole name is Lisa Emilia Maria Adèle ******.
