Arrow is kind of out there, but kind of cool at the same time. I don't mind it for a male. I like Dahlia and Thora.
Millhouse will forever remind me (and I'm sure many others) of the Simpsons. Churchill and Perdita bothers me. The rest of the names are mediocre to me (Alice, Winter, Matilda).
The only one I really love is Matilda, but some of the others aren't bad either.
It's funny, my first thought with arrow wasn't to connect it to the thing you shoot (which would be a masculine name to me), but to arrowroot, which would make it a feminine name. I wouldn't actually use it on a kid, but I kind of like it.
Churchill: nooo. Alice: it's okay. Arrow: maybe. Dahlia: okay. Perdita: no. Winter: it's okay. Thora: nah. Matilda: like it. Millhouse: reminds me of The Simpsons.
Churchill - winston Alice - love this name. Arrow - nah Dahlia - not my style, but not horrible Perdita - nah Winter - wouldn't mind it as a middle name Thora - kinda like this Matilda - love it Millhouse - bart's friend
I like Alice & Matilda. Winter & Thora are pretty great as well, but more as guilty pleasures, I guess. Or as middle names. I always feel that Thora would be kind of weird to use, since I'm not even remotely Jewish (I know it's spelled Torah, but still).
I like all of them except Arrow as a first name (it seems more middle namey to me), and Churchill would be kind of awkward on a girl because the immediate association is Sir Winston Churchill, or Churchill, Manitoba, and neither of those has feminine connotations or is something particularly easy to bear during childhood.
Millhouse definitely reminds me of Milhouse Van Houten from The Simpsons.
i'd hate to be named churchill. especially when you consider that so many infants look like old men. alice is nice, feminine, and a classic. i'm not sure i'd use it, but i love the name. arrow is a maybe, but doubtful for me. i wouldn't make fun of someone naming their kid arrow though, provided it was a boy. dahlia is again, a maybe. i wouldn't use it, but i think it's a nice enough name. perdita - no. i don't really like season names, but i prefer winter to summer. hammer of thora is what i always think of. i don't think it sounds feminine, it sounds like an ugly girl's name. like helga. i love matilda. very cute. millhouse - LOL simpsons
Alice and Matilda are our top favorite names for girls! (Except I much prefer the spelling Mathilde.) Dahlia I like a lot, and I actually like Churchill if used as a middle name. I assume it is in homage to Winston Churchill, and if so, I actually prefer just plain Winston. :)
Millhouse = NIXON, and that would be an awful chip on a kid's shoulder.
My thoughts: Churchill - Far, far, far too surnamey, and DEFINATELY not a girls name... Alice - Loooove! Arrow - Might be cute on a boy Dahlia - Don't like personally Perdita - is the female dog off 101 Dalmations... Winter - Ok, I guess Thora - Not my style, but nothing really wrong with it Matilda - Love Millhouse - The Simpsons
Wow. Just wow. It's Winston Churchill and he was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom for much of World War II. Seriously, you might want to spend less time obsessing about baby names for imaginary children and a little more time learning something about the world you live in. I thought the lowest point you could reach was in a comment you made a while back when you thought the Arabs crossed a land bridge over the ocean to become the ancestors of American Indians.
I like Alice, Dahlia, and Matilda. As someone mentioned, the meaning of Perdita is terrible. Churchill and Arrow are a little to out there imo.
As far as Millhouse goes, the reason the creator of the Simpsons picked that name is because he thought it was the most "unfortunate" name he could think of for a kid. It comes from President Nixon's middle name. Not exactly the best president to be named after. ;)

Arrow is uhmm not bad, honestly. Masculine, though, and definitely not for a first name.
