Some of them I like. Some of them I could possibly use. Some of them I simply find interesting or intriguing for one reason or another. Kind of a random assortment. A very looooong random assortment. Sorry. But I'd like to know your thoughts and impressions. :o) If you have any questions as to origin or meaning, I can look them up for you (if I don't know them off the top of my head).

Wow! I actually know both a Tobin (40 yr old guy) and a Wilona (preschooler) and I always thought they both had lovely names. :) I like Aida because it reminds me of the opera, and Lennox is the name of an artsy town in the Berkshires.

Rillian, Lyra, Malvina, Meliara, and Karana are the only names on that list that are "made-up", as far as I know...and they weren't made up by me. They're all characters in books I've read. :o)

A lot of these names are Welsh, ancient Gaelic, or Greek...which makes them sound pretty unusual and "out there", I know.

I love learning about the etymology of names, so I thought I'd put some of the lesser-known gems out there and see what people make of them. :oD

I LOVE Eira. It means "snow" in Welsh. Audric is, as far as I can gather, French...and it means "wise, old rule".

They're actually all legit names, albeit rather unusual and unknown. :o)

I haven't met very many people that like the name Blair. I like it a lot too!
