What do you think of the name Summer?

Could it work well with my other favorites:
Boys; Rory, Shane, Cole, Nicholas (Nick), David
Girls: Peyton, Brooke, Brynn, Taylor, Stella

Summer's...okay.
There's nothing really wrong with it. It just sounds like one of those names that when you're in like, first grade, you swear you're going to name your daughter it, but you never actually follow through with it when you get older.

I could definitely work with your girls' names, except maybe Brynn, which I consider too "irish".
Works cool with the boys' names, although I'm no fan of Rory.

Summer's my little sister's name. Combined with my name, it's a little over-the-top hippie-dippie, but the name isn't too bad on its own.

It's not something I would suggest on a male, but I think it's a relatively nice name for a girl.

The name Brooke is a little to corny with Summer in my opinion. Kind of like Summer Meadow, Summer Skye, etc

I do think Summer Brynn would be very, very nice. :)

There is a pretty famous stripper named Summer. She's famous because one of her "best' customers, who spent thousands and thousands of dollars on her, murdered his wife to be with her/keep his wife from finding out what he was doing. Last I heard she was on that G String Divas show on HBO. I've known a lot of Summers, none of the strippers, but none were rocket scientists, either. I guess it has tainted by perception of the name.

I do love Cole and Nicholas, though!

summer is nice. i wouldnt use it, personally, but i dont see anything wrong with it. i love stella!

i think summer and shane sound really nice as a sibset. i think david is too boring to be paired with summer, and stella is too sophisticated to sound "right" with it.
