Feb. 10th, 2008 04:27 pmI just found one of my favorite names lists from when i was thirteen:
Girls:
Hero (i loved much ado about nothing hahaha)
Monet
Charli
Juliette
Khol
Willow
Teagan
Charlotte
Boys:
Carter
Gabe
Pierre
Sagen
Rayne
Kyran
Cayden (before the aiden trend! hahaha)
Skylen
On the WTF front, Monet, Hero, Khol, Pierre, Sagen, Rayne Kyran, Skylen? I don't even know how i came up with some of those. hahaha.
I still like Willow and Charlotte, and Carter and Gabe, though. What names did you like when you were younger?
I'll post my top 3 for boy/girls now:
Girls:
Harper Camilla (kuh-mill-uh, not ca-meel-yuh)
Willa Austen
Elinor Delphine
Boys:
Cyrus Jude
Wyatt Thatcher
Henry Wilder
(and yeah, i seem to like cowboy-esque names. hahaha)

Date: 2008-02-10 10:08 pm (UTC)Caleb is the only one of those that I still halfway like!
I used to love Adrienna Rae for a girl. Now I hate it!

Date: 2008-02-10 10:27 pm (UTC)I like Juliette, Willow, Teagan, and Charlotte off your old list. Carter is okay, and I like Gabe but prefer it as a nickname (for Gabriel).
I like most of your new names, just not necessarily in the combinations you put them in. Cyrus Jude keeps making me think Cyrus Jade, even though I don't like Jade for boys or Cyrus for girls; my brain must be on vacation today.

Date: 2008-02-11 02:04 pm (UTC)Of your previous faves, I like:
Juliette - very pretty
Teagan - on my own list!
Charlotte - on my list, too
Pierre - love it, but I don't think I'd use it
Willow is pretty, but I can't get over thinking about that "Willow" movie, which is something I wouldn't want people to think of if I named my child this.

Date: 2008-02-11 02:17 pm (UTC)When I was younger, I was hooked on the names Rose, Rosa, Rosie. I don't like them so much on their own now, but I do have a guilty pleasure in Ivory-Rose (as a middle name only)..and not to mention it's a little long, and the hyphen could make filling out forms complicated. But I still really like it.
Top 3 girls:
Lillith June
Evelyn Raine
Neve Marjorie
Top 3 boys:
Cedric James
Finn Patrick
Jason Avery

Date: 2008-02-11 05:05 pm (UTC)Anyway, I used to love/like:
Girls:
Carrie - all right, but nothing special
Courtney - not a fan anymore
Robin - not a fan anymore, but don't hate
Daphne - like, but maybe too old-fashioned?
Lanie as a nn for Melanie - eugh!
Aimee - the slightly more exciting way to spell Amy
Sandy - wouldn't like it on a baby
Sabrina - too much Nickelodeon as a child
Alexandra - prefer Alessandra now
Riley - I feel ashamed over this one, as I now think it's just awful.
Piper - too much Charmed
Tracey and Stacey for twins - gag! Awful on their own, but ever worst together!
Tiffany and Tina for twins - more gagging!
Wren - eugh!
Phillipa - not too bad
Boys:
Jason - still like, but too '80s
Alexander - all right, but I REALLY used to love it
Leo - again, too much Charmed
Cole - ditto

Date: 2008-02-11 05:09 pm (UTC)Lilly with two "L"s
Also, Daphne was due to too much Scooby Doo, and Robin and Jason were from too much of this other programme no one's ever heard of: Renford Rejects.
