I'm not a fan of either, but I like the sound of Ashlyn. I like it spelled Aisling though =)

Ashlyn but spelt the Irish way - Aislinn

Ditto. Though I'm not opposed to Ashlyn, either.

I dislike Ashlyn, and if it's for a girl, then neither!

Ainsley :P

sorry I know it wans't a listed option, but it's the closest my preference get to something similar!

Ashley is an ok name, it's traditional, although there's the unisex issue.
Ahslyn is plain out there kkr8v'z, in my taste. It might actually be a legit name, but I'm not sure.

I like Ashlyn better, but I'm kind of over Ash names.

I love Ashlyn, dislike Ashley.

Ashley. The only reason why is that I dislike the superficial Y trend.

Ashryn is nice, however.

my name is ashley and i really love the way it sounds, though i really dislike how common its become. and i never think it looks right on a boy, probably because i've never crossed a male ashley in my life and i myself am female.

i also like the way ashlyn sounds, but every spelling i've ever seen looks really awkward to me.

Ashley. Ashlyn looks made up and trendy. Ashley, while dated, actually looks like a name and doesn't look quite as trendy.

Lol! I get like that sometimes with random words. I'll be like 'uhh.. the word THAT looks very odd to me today! :D'

.. *shrug*

It does look odd, and misspelled. But I know a little girl who is named Ashlyn. Maybe Ashlynn looks better..?

I'm gonna have to vote Ashlyn, thats my daughter's name. She is almost 5 years old, so she was Ashlyn before the trend of Y's and creative spellings was really big. And for the record... i think Ashlynn just looks like too much. Her name gets misspelled like that all the time, I mean, Lynn... so yes, its an honest mistake, but I think it looks fine Ashlyn.

Ashley is better, but on a boy. On a girl, Ashlyn is better, but definitely not spelt like that.

I hate to tell you, but the trend of y's and creative spellings has been big for way more than five years.

The Ashlynn spelling DEFINITELY makes it look contrived, like it's a hybrid between Ashley and Lynn.

I've known female and male Ashleys; prefer the name on a male.

Ashlyn looks hokey to me.

i babysit for a couple who's cat, i thought, was named ashlyn. it's actually ashland (like the city in oregon with an amazing shakespeare festival), but the name ashlyn is now tied to a cat with long grey fur.
so, ashley...
