it reminds me too much of dexter on showtime i think. for a little while i considered it because i love the character so much but at the same time, he's a serial killer so that's weird.

it sounds nerdy and cute so i love it regardless. i wouldn't use it though because every time i've mentioned to someone that i like it they say OH LIKE DEXTER'S LAB?

My friend almost named her baby Dexter. Her family vetoed it immediately. The kid ended up with the name William Michael. They call him Will. The last name is Smith.

See, it reminds me of Dexter Morgan, too, but I could really care less about that. The Dexter's Lab series is slowly phasing out and the association isn't too entirely strong now.

I really like Dexter but the only combo I can come up with that I like is Dexter Morgan because I'm so used to it. And while Morgan would be nice because it's my sister's name... with BOTH names it'd be too weird.

I actually like it a lot, but it seems like kind of a geeky name to me. I don't know. But it's adorable, and I DO love it. And I think a kid could carry it off; Dex is a cute nickname that could be 'cool' too.
