Chey Ann?
First name Chey. Middle name Ann.
Any other spellings for Chey?
Chey said like Shay.
For a girl.

Even worse than Brooke Lynn or Emma Leigh.

I hate it. A lot. Cheyenne is probably one of the most white trash names I can think of, and splitting it into two like that is just...ugh.

i don't really like it, but for what its worth, my high school guidance counselor's name was shay and i remember her telling me that she was always grateful that her parents named her that and that she'd never change her name.

Shea.

I look at Chey and want to pronounce it "shy," especially since Ann is the middle name.

i look at Chey and want to say either "Ch-ay" or "Shy"... for the name pronounced like "Shh-ay" i would spell it: Shay or Shea.

btw, i ESPECIALLY want to say "Shy" when pairing it with "Ann/Anne", simply because of the name/city/etc. Cheyenne.

Hate it.

Well, I just hate Cheyanne, Chey Ann, or whatever version in general. I don't know why, but I do.

It is the all-popular name right now.

I wanted to pronounce it like 'shy', too. But then I noticed the middle name would be Ann and figured it was supposed to be kind of like Cheyenne, right? Well, I'm not a fan of Cheyenne either, but it looks better, IMO.

Like others have suggested already, I do like Shea (also pronounced 'shay').

Are you thinking of Cheyenne perhaps?
I really like that, my dad wanted it for me :)
it means "savage" and he says it would have fit me! lol

It's not bad, though I don't really like that name spelled as Chey (Shay is my preference). But I do think it looks like someone going for Cheyenne who isn't pronouncing it correctly.

I try;) Hahaha. Truthfully, I'm usually much nicer in my honesty, but I posted at an inopportune time last night, so you got the bitchiness as well as the brutal honesty;)

No.
And I think of shea butter when I see "Chey".

Despite where I live being a white trash paradise, I somehow haven't seen an overflow of Cheyennes, so I do like it, even though it's the name of my neighbors' asshole dog. Cree is a lot more white trashy here.

I do agree that it comes off like a mispronunciation, but in theory it isn't that bad... as long as you spelt it Shay, and not Chey.
