A tiny little 2 week old baby I met at work today - Harmony Daisy

And a few weeks ago, while I was sitting in McDonalds, I heard a woman yell out several times to her daughter - Freedom.

Yay or Nay?

When I was going through my phase of liking bad names, I liked the name Harmony Monique (so I could call her Nemo as in the last syllabel of the first and first of the middle).

A name I once saw on an application (and we wondered if it was a joke but it turned out to be a legitimate name): Liberty Bell

I like Harmony... not sure how Daisy rings with it though with the same ending "ee" sound there.

When I was checking out a preschool for my sons I encountered a little girl named Freedom just the other day.

I know a Harmony (who's five) and a Melody (who's three) but they're not related.

Liberty Bell is also the name of Juno's younger sister in the movie Juno. :P

I.. uh.. really don't like Harmony Daisy. They sound horrible together. I don't particularly like Harmony, or Daisy, either.

I wouldn't name my kid Freedom, either. But.. uh.. lol.

I don't like Harmony at all. Daisy is alright, but not really my style.
Freedom is so extremely hippie-ish that I kind of like it...but I would never use it. It just seems strange calling your kid that.

I think Harmony is more passable than Freedom and not that bad of a name.

Not my taste though.

Harmony is somewhat of a guilty pleasure name for me, and Daisy is cute enough, but I think they flow horribly together.

And Freedom is just awful, but I guess you've got to give for what you take (YEAH, YEAHHHHHH).

At least Freedom is better than Submit...?

They're both awful, but Harmony is definitely slightly better, and at least she has the option of going by Daisy. But still. Ugh.

I used to be on a parenting group where a girl was named Liberty Ann Justice (Justice being her last name). Say it out loud. If you have more kids, how do you follow that up???

I like Harmony Daisy. It's kind of cutesy, but I like it.

I knew a little girl named Freedom. Her mother named her such after she was born because the mother had gotten out of an abusive relationship.

I personally don't like the name Freedom because it sounds like you're saying, "Free Dumb!"

LMAO! Can you imagine having to yell "Freedom!!" all the time. It would be like the end of Braveheart skipping all the time. LOL

I went to school with a girl named Liberty that went by Libby. I assumed her name was Elizabeth until the announcements at graduation.

Oy, I just assumed that her name was Liberty and "Liberty Bell" was a nickname like "June Bug". Liberty Bell is an awful, awful name.
