Debutante names.
Jan. 4th, 2013 08:58 pmSo my mother picked up this free magazine published about the posher side of our city, and it had a feature on girls who'd recently made their debut in society at this debutante ball (those still exist, apparently). The feature listed their full names, and I couldn't resist posting the firsts and middles here. Keep in mind that all of these girls are in their late teens (and possibly early twenties).
Eleanor Clark
Mary Clare
Sarah Anne
Caroline Frances x2
Elizabeth Paige
Catherine Elizabeth
Corinne Anais
Allison Sloan
Kathryn Ann
Sloane Winfield
Katherine Rose
Sallie Cabanne
Emma Patricia
Margaret Elizabeth
( More under the cut. )
I think the surname-y middles may be family names and/or the mothers' maiden names. Also, I have never seen Catherine/Katherine/Kathryn so overused in one place before.
