Addition/update to a previous post...

I posted a while ago about a friend of mine whose name is Bill. Just Bill. This wasn't surprising to me as my father's name is just plain Tom.

Then I discovered that his sister's name was Brichelle, which I had never heard.

Today, I found out that he has another sister: Brenee.

I have yet to meet my friend's parents but I'm SO curious what could possibly have prompted this!

I was on Nameberry, and there was a list of C names spelled with a K. Well, the list was mostly what one would expect, and some you may not expect, but made sense. But there was one name on there, and it took me by surprise b/c the C does not make a K sound in the original name:
