My husband and I are going through our respective lists of names and making a shortlist. I'd love some outside opinions. Be honest with me, I promise I can take it, haha. Drawbacks, teasing nicknames, feel free to say whatever. We're kind of hippies, keep that in mind.

My cousin born in 1961 is Yuriy Alekseevich. And I wanted a son Neil. Before I had known my third child is the daughter I looked for female analogue of the name Neil. There are two rare names in Russia: Nil (greek Neilos) and Nila (greek Neonila). But Armstrong's name is rather gallic.
Well, she is girl named Elina (now popular cossack and russian name). I always joke we gave her that name because she was born when the match between Germany and Greece(Ellas) happenned
Today I've read Armrstrong's phrase "I am, and ever will be, a white-socks, pocket-protector, nerdy engineer, born under the second law of thermodynamics, steeped in steam tables, in love with free-body diagrams, transformed by Laplace and propelled by compressible flow". I can't say "me too", hardly believe I will ever work in an airspace industry again. RIP. вечного полета
