H or no H?

How do you guys feel about names where the H is optional? Like:

Lea(h)
Sara(h)
Hanna(h)

I personally feel like it looks and feels unfinished if there is no H. But is it also due to cultural differences?

I remembered that my aunt has compiled a family tree for my paternal side. It's mostly German, so there are some different names. Here are a few of the less common ones (less common for here, anyways):

Men:
Friedrich (I've always liked this variation of Fredrick)
Joachim
Otto Julius
Wilhelm
Horst.

Women:
Gisela
Erna
Katalin (I like this actually)
Lisette (I like this, too)
Constantia
Friederike
Eva Louise

These are all people born before 1937, though most of them are at least two generations earlier than that.

Caught my roommate going over a binderful of information related to her dad's family's genealogy to work on her family tree. I couldn't resist asking to pour over it for interesting names. Managed to uncover some sort of weird incestuous plotline between her great-great grand uncles families and to gather quite the list of names.
