From The Province:

David and Victoria Beckham have named their newborn daughter Harper Seven.

The soccer superstar - who wore a number seven shirt when he played for Manchester United and England – revealed the baby’s name in a posting on his Facebook page and said both mother and baby, who was born Sunday morning at Los Angeles' Cedars Sinai hospital, are “doing well.”

David Beckham – who already has three sons, Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, eight, and six-year-old Cruz, with Victoria - wrote: "I am so proud and excited to announce the birth of our daughter Harper Seven Beckham. She weighed a healthy 7lbs 10oz and arrived at 7.55 this morning, here in LA.

“Victoria is doing really well and her brothers are delighted to have a baby sister xx."

David and Victoria are thought to have chosen the name Harper – which is a popular moniker for both boys and girls in the U.S. - because of its "lovely sound," while Seven was decided upon due because it is considered a lucky digit.

A source in Los Angeles told The Sun newspaper: "The couple loved the name Harper. It has no hidden meaning - they just fell for the name and think it has a lovely sound.

"They went for Seven as a middle name as they think it is a lucky and spiritual number. And the baby arrived around 7 a.m. in July - the seventh month."

The name is NMS, but I like it a lot and think it fits them well.

Oh boy. I was on Yahoo Answers earlier, and I stumbled upon these gems. I usually don't post anything I see on there (that would keep me busy for a long time) but these stood out. It's a sibset of a boy and two girls:

Sabastein
Hatie-Jane
Eysis-Mae

Wow. Just wow. I'm not even sure how these are supposed to be pronounced. Sebastian, Hattie Jane and Isis Mae? The latter would have been pretty if spelled normally, in my opinion!
