Jan. 16th, 2011 05:21 pmHi ladies! I used to be fairly active here but haven't been around livejournal at all much the past year or so. Well, I had a baby boy about 11 weeks ago and we named him Liam John. We had it narrowed down to William/Liam, Oliver, Noah or John Jude III (nn: Jett) and waited to meet him before we named him. My husband took one look at him and said "I think he is Liam" so about 12 hours after he was born, I agreed to it. I am a big fan of meeting the little one before naming. As soon as I saw him, I knew immediately he was not a Noah or a Jett, it was amazing. I was torn between William/Liam and Oliver and still wonder if we chose correctly, but I knew that was the one my husband really wanted, so I went with it.
Anyway... we are probably going to have another and I am now looking for sibling names that go well with Liam. Here are our top names... please let me know what you think sounds best, and feel free to pick apart the list and tell me why it works or doesn't.
Noah, Oliver, Asa, Indie/Indy, Nathaniel (Nate), Everett, Jasper (Jaz), Finnegan (Finn), Theodore (Theo)
Pippa, Josie, Elisabeth, Sophie, Sylvie, Tessa, Annabel/Annaleigh (Anna), Susannah, Brighde (Irish name pronounced Bree-zja), Aoife (pronounced Ee-fah)
Middle names will be family names...
girl: Colleen
boy: Gray, Francis, Colin, Edward or Shepard
