One of my best guy friend wants to name his future daughter Valentine.
I'm not too crazy about it, but it won't be my child, so I don't guess it matters.
Anyway, he needs help finding a middle name. Any ideas?

Last name: Tisdel.

While sitting at the dinner table a few weeks ago making aimless baby name suggestions, my husband half-seriously thre the name North into the mix. I'm sure he got it off the juice bottle, but that's not the point. It has, to a large extent, grown on me. I'm wondering if North is a fine and good name, or am I just crazy pregnant woman with hormones that cloud my judgement.
So North. What do you think?

I just read a little blurb about someone on the Internet named Evan. Doesn't sound too unusual, does it?

Evan is a girl.

I also saw a girl named Czara (like Russian czar with an a on the end). I like the name, hate the spelling. I would just spell it Zara.

I saw this article on Yahoo News today about the most popular names of the past 100 years, celebrity names, and a rather long name from 1883...

A name for every letter of the alphabet? Geez. Just goes to show that even 125 years ago people were giving their kids crazy names!! Silly Victorians...

An interesting sibset on Supernanny:

Kaleigh, 9
John, 6 (I think)
Karly, 4
Thomas, 2

Thoughts?

I am pregnant with my second, I don't know the sex yet. My son's name is Adrian Maxwell.

Middle name for a girl has to be Ann. I was thinking maybe Marcy for a first name. Does it sound too much like a nickname? I'm not really even sure what it would be a nickname for. Other girls names I like are Nadia and Nadine (neither goes well with Ann) and Agatha (I'm afraid it sounds too much like an old lady name, and it also doesn't go well with Ann).

I am completely lost on what I would name another boy. I already used my favorite boy's name.

Does anyone have any suggestions? (boys names or girls, nothing is set in stone)
