Which do you like better?  Violet Erin or Violet Kathleen?  If you don't like either have any suggestions?  I will admit that Erin and Kathleen come from my favorite actress' birth name, who is in my icon (Kate Walsh if you didn't know).  I won't be having kids for another 7+ years (that is if things go as planned), and I probably will not name my kids after famous people, but you know, just keeping my options open, I guess.

Today in the paper I found the sibset.

I think wtf! Katherine is lovely but I'm still not entirely sure how one is supposed to pronounce Kaithlynn

How do you pronounce Eamon?

Ay-min?
Ay-mon?
Ee-min?
Ee-mon?

The tally so far:
14 people say AY-mon/min/mun
7 people say EE-mon/min/mun

ETA: So apparently the general consensus is Ay-mun/min/mon but sometimes Ee-mun/min/mon. Awesome. haha. =P

I added one name and added a few middle names that I like (very short list)

VOTE on my Name List

Also, my friend had a baby and I posted the name before without the middle name

So, I'm very close to having my baby. Theo(dore) James is the name we've picked out for if its a boy. (Scarlett Jane for a girl) I love them. But recently I've realised that almost all the boys names I like end in a 'O' Like Milo, Hugo, and Otis - although it just starts with O. So anyways, I was wondering what if I have another baby and end up with two boys. I don't think Theo and Milo/Hugo/Otis works.

Maybe Miles or Hugh, but I don't love them as much.
Anyways, suggestions?
Do you have any other names that you think would suit my taste that doesn't end in O?
The only other name I really love that doesn't end in O is Rory, which someone here suggested. So thanks, whoever that was!

By the way, are there any nick names for Scarlett? Not Scar.
And if I end up having a Theodore James, and then later on a Scarlett Jane, is that too weird? Should I change Jane?
What are some good middle names for Scarlett?

Thanks.

I saw this, and almost wanted to laugh. My homepage is Yahoo and they have various articles I sometimes read. One was this, talking about how names can sometimes influence what you do. I don't really believe it, but I thought it was an interesting read to share.

the article copied and pasted here )

Makes me kinda wonder if people would stop giving their children strange names if they knew it might effect their kid's life beyond all other kids laughing at them.

I work at a shop in the mall, and a lot of women come in with their small children or babies in strollers. Sometimes I coo over the baby, and the mother tells me their name. Sometimes the mother is yelling the child's name across the store to get them to behave. Either way, I hear a lot of unusual names.

Some of the names I've heard this week. All of these kids are under 5 )
