I know the James is after my cousin's father, who passed away a few years ago. Not sure about the Robert. WDYT?
I like the James, not too sure about the Robert part.
Edit: Another post made me think of this. I used to be friends with a girl who had a cousin named Timnah Sue nn Timmy Sue. WDYT?
I just finished Work Experience at my local primary school. I had a beautiful year two class, with some horrible names. Nothing too creative, but just... ugly.
- Tyron (Tie-rone)
All born either 1998/99
I find it a beautiful name.
Anyway, are there certain names that you either used to like or that you still like but would never use because of a bad association?
I work in a school and a couple of my (ex) favourite names have been ruined:
What are yours?
Sorry for the second post in less than forty-eight hours, but it seems that with this baby's impending birth all of the names we decided upon aren't quite to my liking anymore (anyone have that? :P).
Anyway, I was re-reading my list of favourite names because of literary characters, when I came across this one: Alba. I kind of like it, but am unsure. Is Jessica Alba too much of a big deal for me to consider this name?
I am 10 weeks pregnant and even though it is incredibly premature we are starting to think about names.
Here are what we have so far. Thoughts and suggestions welcome. :)
(William is for my late father, James is my brother)
Aveanna Rose (ah-vay-ah-na)
(Rose is my Mom's middle name and we'd like to use it)
At first we were having a harder time with boys names but those seem to be coming more quickly to us now. It is way, way too early but I just have a feeling we will have a boy. :) Help us out!
I LOVE it. HE loves it. It is on our list. It makes me incredibly happy.
Timm (the DF) is a music person, and has a theory that all names have to have a good rhythm to it, you know? In our case our last name will be two syllables, and so he taps out the rhythm of a name before he will say if he likes it or not. (Like, Natalia Rose and our last name would be Tuck-uh-Tuck-uh Tuck Tuck-uh.) Does this make any sense to other people? Is this common in naming or is my Drummer love a complete dork?
If you want to check out my baby name list.
Yes I realize one of the names is of one of the Nsync guys. I didn't realize that until it was pointed out. Allen is a family name and I just like Christopher.
If you want to leave feedback that's fine!
