I'm taking astronomy this semester and it is absolutely fascinating to me. During class i picked up on some interesting names, so I decided to make a list of names related to astronomy.

These are names of constellations, stars, galaxies, and a few are actual names for people that have an astronomic background.

I thought I'd join in too. I don't normally join the bandwagon, but I thought this feature was particularly cool. BTW Wellstone is for the late Senator Paul Wellstone aka my hero. I don't think I'd ever use it, I just didn't have a middle name that wasn't Manning. Boys names are hard for me to decide on.

Rhyming?

Do you think Isabella Maria and Agatha Sophia would be too matchy for a sibset? Even more so for twins? Please consider that in Italy, where I live, names ending in -a are basically the rule for girls' names. My concern is that they rhyme.

I was watching a quiz show where a question was what the name of Mitch's son in Baywatch was. Anyway, I used to think the name was a weird one, but now I sort of like it. What do you think of the name Hobie?

I love baby names

Hi, I'm new. My husband (of three weeks) and I have talked about baby names well before we ever said "I do." Now that we are official, we've been talking about baby names non-stop! Alas, we won't be trying to conceive for about a year. But still...babies!

So here are our favorite names:

Conrad Joseph
Richard Todd (we don't love either of these names, really, but they cover all three of our fathers. We'll come up with a cool nickname or something...)
Jonah Todd

Amelia Mary
Zoe Alice
Eva Mary-Alice
(Obviously, Mary and Alice are in the mix no matter what. The two together cover three of our grandparents, my mom, his sister, my aunt. Plus, it's pretty.)

Crazy Name Day

Wild day at work, but I have to share the names I came across. I got a kid today named Keylon Daylon ln. Yes, it rhymes. I also got Kalvin...which isn't that strange, but his twin brother is named Kelvin. Kalvin and Kelvin. Oh, and one of my kids has a sister named Cokeisha.

Add this to the fact that I already have a Sir and a Donatelo and my caseload is awful entertaining:)

Happiness!

My cousin had her baby at 4am this morning. She was 8LB and 13oz. Her name is Leah Diane =)This is her and her husband's first baby. The parents names are Kristi and Paul.
