My name is Camyla Hope... my fiance's name is Robert William John. Ever since I came into this community about 2 months ago I have been asking him randomly about names.. 'what about this one' etc... he has turned down a lot, he says the boy names I pick are too girly and the girl names are too stripper-ish.

We have finally decided on names we can live with.

If we have a boy his name will be Reilly William, most likely.
For a girl, we've decided Ava something... we really can't decide on a middle name. What sounds good with Ava?

I have one daughter already, her name is Maizie Alexandria.

PS- Also, do you guys know of anywhere where you can get sur-names and their meanings? We want to change our last name to something different but don't know where to start.

Some opinions would be appreciated:
1. Stacey - would you use it for a male name? If so, what middle name would you use?

Personally I want to have 4-6 kids eventually... one reason for this is because I love names (and I also love babies, kids and have always wanted to be a mother) so my question is:

Esmé

I have liked the name Esmé and it's meaning since someone in this community mentioned it, a while ago. I have been under the impression that it would be pronounced Es-mee. However, on television today I heard a name that was pronounced Es-may- I think I may like that one better.

I'm wondering if the name I heard today was Esmé or if it is some other name I have yet to learn the spelling of. Opinions and help would be greatly appreciated! :)

Kittens!

Much to my delight and excitement, I am getting kittens :D Not sure when exactly, because I’ll be moving out of my house in June and things might take a while to sort out, but I’ve been promised two baby cats…

So, obviously the question is names. I’ll be giving it a lot of thought, of course, because I love names and because I love kittens, and I was hoping for some advice.

I think I’d like people names (although I could potentially be swayed) and I thought it might be a great opportunity to use one of those really far out names that you think are cute but could never actually call your kid…

I watch Heroes obsessively. Some of the characters have names that I had never heard of prior to watching the show: Hiro, Mohinder, and Sylar, to name a few.

Just thought I'd share.

I personally LOVE the name Sylar, but hey, maybe that's because I have a fangirly crush on that character.
