What names do you think of Rory being a nickname for?

I'm planning on naming my daughter Lorelai and her nickname will be Rory, but we'd like a "back up" first name just incase when she pops out the name Lorelai doesn't seem "fitting" for her. All we can come up with is Lorelai, Aurora and Rosemary.

I'm pregnant...due in September. We don't know what the baby is yet and we're having problems agreeing on a name! We *think* we have a boy name:  Cohen Foster E*    (Cohen is a family name on my side and has actually been used as a first or middle name for many generations and Foster is my husband's middle name)
We originally decided on Haley Meredith for a girl but the more I think about it, the more I dislike Haley, not because I don'tlike the name because I actually do think it's cute, but it's just not sitting right with me (maybe it's the hormones??) The Meredith part is non-negotiable since it's after my grandmother. I'm thinking Meredith Claire even though my husband despises Claire. 
So my question is....

What name combo do you like for the name Meredith  (doesnt matter if Meredith is the first of middle name)?

Thanks for any and all suggestions! Hopefully we can find something that my husband and I agree on...

ETA: this is baby #3 ...other children are Tristan Alexander and Skylar Nichole :)
