I really like Wendy, but I have a cousin with that name, so I couldn't really use it. I've never been a huge fan of Beatrix ... to me it's one of those old-fashioned names that I still can't see on a kid.
While I prefer the Beatrice spelling, I have a soft spot for Beatrix, probably because I absolutely loved a beautiful edition of Tales of Peter Rabbit I've owned ever since I can remember.
There's something about Wendy I like, but I actually DON'T like the Peter Pan connection. I never cared for Peter Pan, in any of its incarnations. Plus, the fast food joint would probably lead to some serious teasing, especially if the child was a redhead.
