I was in the process of writing an email to a friend named Lorie, when I accidently typed Loria. As I was correcting my mistake, I realized I accidently typed a pretty nice name.

You didn't exactly make it up, since it's actually a name already (see link (http://babynamer.com/Loria)).

That aside, I think it has a nice sound. Kind of seems made up, especially since you thought you made it up. It's not something I'd choose personally, but there are certainly worse names.

Loria loked unfinished, like it's missing something at the beginning. Gloria perhaps.

I actually used to work with a Lauria, but she pronounced it like Loria. She also answered to Laura, though, since people got her name wrong so often, so I guess that's a possible drawback to the name.
