oh well.

on the plus side, i'm an aunt again!!! I have a new little niece. this makes 3 of my siblings with one kid each all under tha age of 2:

Khaden D'Mar Eaden
Adara Erin Williams

& the new indtallment of my family is

Aaliyah Lynn Caldwell (might be Rogers as the last name if his gf was mad enough at my brother lol. oh and i'm not sure on the spelling just yet, she was born yesterday @2am and i'm in another city. i'm going of how i'd spell it)

I was never really fond of the name Aaliyah until I saw someone spell it Alia and now I kind of like it. Spelled the second way too.

Khaden D'Mar Eaden is a bit much. Is Eaden the last name? So it's Khaden Eaden?

No offence, but Khalen D'Mar Eadan is pretty awful, and Aaliyah isn't that great either. Adara Erin is nice, though.

I really like the pronunciation of Aaliyah but I really, really can't stand the spelling. I have a friend named Aleah & I like that way more. I know Aaliyah is the real/original spelling, but it looks made-up anyway.

I'm not trying to pick on YOU, so I'm really sorry if it comes across this way...but it really bugs me when people talk about a "real/original" spelling of a name that isn't even spelled with the English alphabet. The original spelling of Aaliyah is עליה in Hebrew...and unfortunately I don't have Arabic type installed on my computer or I'd spell that too...but my point is that in English you can spell it however you want. I like Aleah too. :-) But I think my favorite spelling is Aliya or Aliyah.
