I've been going through some of my stuff in storage since I've been home for Christmas break. While I was going through some boxes I found some old notebooks. I've been obsessed with names since I was a little kid. By my best estimates these names were compiled when I was thirteen and just starting high school.

I've some of the names found in this eight page list of names int he cut below. This is about half of the names on the lists.

The * were on the original list and I assume indicated my favorites.

Probably since this is from five years ago. I assume that is why Piper, Phoebe, and Melinda are on this list, too.

A lot of the names I didn't list were based off of West Wing characters and Jonas Quinn was a character on Stargate SG-1. I first heard Sage on Dark Angel; Hermione and Cedric were from Harry Potter; Leia, Jacen, Jaina, and Keiran are Star Wars characters; and there are a few others that jumped out at me as coming from odd sources but I can't remember where.

And my obsession with Naomi was based of the character Samantha Wildman from Star Trek Voyager who has a daughter named Naomi. Because my name is Samantha Wildman, lol.

I won't lie, names I read or hear somewhere definately stick with me.

I have no idea but I think it's "CHAW-LUH" more or less like it looks. It was the last name of Kalpana Chawla who was on board the space shuttle Columbia when it exploded over Texas. A friend of my dad's was on the shuttle. So, I'm pretty sure that's where it came from.
