So once again, I was looking through old pictures and stuff from when I went to summer camp & found a picture of my favorite guy counselor - not considering he was the hottest counselor. haha. =] anyways, his name was kendall and i totally just fell in love with the name, but is kendell more of a boy or girl name? or both? & what do you think of the name. <3

I think it goes both ways. I have a girl cousin named Kendall, but I also work with a Kendall, and he goes by Kenny.

I think of it as a girl name, but that's because it's my cousin's daughter's name.

I don't think I've ever met a male Kendell, although I've always thought of it as a boy's name. I don't really like it, either way. The first time I heard it, it was on a guy one of my friends knew. I remember remarking, "Kendell? Ken Doll?! Does he have blond hair moulded to his head? Can he bend his arms? Does he wear a sweater vest tied around his shoulders?"

I had no idea it was a boys name...it reminds me a girls from the 80s - there was a little girl in a movie named Kendall. Was it the Ewok Adventure? In any case, I like it.
