the big news in my city is that maternity wards are closing left & right, so not many hospitals in my immediate area have babies born there... but one did on Christmas Day. they named her Christmas Carol Anne lastname. that poor kid.
where i work, people often write their names on their orders, to make sure there is no mix up. we also get call in orders for the companies in our building. i work at a stock exchange, & more often than not the men are named: Chris, Michael, Matthew, David, Daniel... the women, though, are a nice mix. we also have customers who aren't from the stock exchange, lol. so, names i've come across this past week:
from work:
Cale (man, early 30s)
Veny (woman, early 20s- not a nickname)
Aubrey (woman, 30ish)
Jesse (woman, 30ish- not a nickname)
in the paper:
Kioda (boy, 3-4yrs)
Ieugene (boy, 2yrs)
Shawn Robert (newborn)
