I havent discussed these with my SO yet, but I just got my baby name book in the mail yesterday and wanted to know opinions.  The names in blue are ones that we have agreed on previously.

I like/don't mind (for boys) River, Keagan, Micah, Noah and Rafe. (for girls) Felicity, Jemma (I prefer Gemma), Johanna, Josslyn and Teagan.

I don't like most of these names, because they're not my style, but Lucky, Rebel, and Lakyn are just horrible. Your child has to have this name for the rest of their life, and Lucky is just not a good name in any way, unless you're naming a dog.

The only ones I really like are Noah & Johanna, but I don't mind River, Allison, Brynn, or Josslyn if spelled Jocelyn. Jett, Lucky, Rebel & Lakyn are really bad.

*Jett - I think it's trying too hard to be cool.
*River - I really like it but I think it's a little too "hippy" for me to ever actually use
*Hunter - I really ought to hate it but for some reason I can't. Kind of a guilty pleasure of mine.
*Keagan - I don't like it, sorry.
*Troy - Another guilty pleasure! I actually think this one is useable though.
*Lucky - Nooo! Sounds like a pet
*Micah - It's ok. I think it sounds a bit wet.
*Rebel - Hehe, it's too much to live up to! What if the kid was just...not?
*Noah - I like it but I get the feeling it's quite popular nowadays
*Rafe - Hate it, sorry.
*Taggart - Haha, I assume you're not in the UK? Taggart is the name of a TV cop show which was originally about this gruff Scottish detective whose surname was Taggart. Look it up on YouTube or something :) Sorry, but I just can't get past that association!

I like Troy. Jett could grow on me. The other boy names you've already agreed upon are too trendy in my opinion. Out of the others, I like Micah and Noah. Do you pronounce Rafe like Reef or like Rah-fay? If it's the former, I'd look into a different spelling; if it's the latter, I think it needs to be short for something, like Rafael. Lucky and Rebel are too word-ish for me, which is probably why I also don't like River or Hunter. They might work well for middle names, but I have a hard time picturing them on adults and taking them seriously.

Out of the girls' names, I like Allison, Felicity, Johanna, Josslyn (although I'd DEFINITELY spell it Jocelyn; Josslyn looks tacky), and Talia. Brennan is a BOY'S NAME (as is Teagan, but Teagan seems to be "acceptable" on girls lately...*gag*). Please please please don't use this on your daughter. Brooklyn and Jayla look like stripper names. The others are gorgeous, but I'd stay away from ones like these

Rafe is pronounced like Rayf. but, it is a short form of Rafer & Raphael/Rafael. i've also heard it is a variant of Ralph.

Of the girls names, my favorites are Allison, Felicity, Lacey (although I'm partial to Lacy), Brenna, Brynn, and Teagan. My favorite that you mentioned is probably Talia.

If you name your kid Rebel he's either going to not be one and therefore his name won't make sense or he will be one and if you try to discipline him for it he'll have the valid point that you're the ones who named him that.

I like River & Noah for boys, and Jett is alright, I guess.
As for the girls, I like Lacey, Brenna, Brynn, Sienna, Talia, Willow & Teagan.
I know some people aren't fond of Teagan, but I don't think it's that weird. If you like it, go for it.

I really don't like Rebel though. It seems a cute nickname for when he's 5, or something, but -as sad as it is- it's hard to take any adult called Rebel seriously (imagine him being a judge when he grows up!).
