So I recently made a post about name suggestions. And my boyfriend and I decided tonight that his name will be Brent James Adams. More than likely will be Brenton James Adams on his birth certificate, but we'll call him Brent. What do you think? Of course we might change our mind along the way or once he's actually here.

I think that if you're going to call him Brent, you should just name him Brent. Why add 'on' to the end of it?

I think Brent stands as a name on its own just fine- Brenton looks made up to me. If you want something longer, I think Brent would be a good nickname for Brendan.

I personally would avoid the initials BJ, but that's just me- I think the odds of any random person making that connection are pretty small.

Sounds good! Brent can stand alone, but Brenton is good, too. Brendan or Brennan could also shorten to Brent, I think.
