name my company
Dec. 16th, 2007 06:09 pmWell, I see plenty of posts that aren't about baby names per se. So, help me name my company? I've sold my jewelry to friends and through stores I've worked at for years, but I'm branching out and I really need a good company name.
For reference: I primarily make jewelry, but am branching out into selling other crafts, such as knitting and crochet projects, as well. I work mostly in precious metal and semi-precious stone. Many of my pieces are delicate and detailed, but I occasionally do a funky less delicate piece. Lately I've been making gravitating towards designing pieces suitable for wedding jewelry. I'm aiming for something kind of whimsical yet earthy, somewhat sophisticated.
TIA!

Date: 2007-12-17 02:27 am (UTC)For some reason I am gravitating toward future hypothetical daughter's middle name, which will be Esme.
My deceased daughter's name is Brenna Rose and I'm thinking maybe something there, but not sure I'm comfortable with that.
I once thought I might use BHM (Bald-headed Meredith, family joke-- but never tell customers what it actually meant), but it seems to dry for me and a little too close to BM and perhaps just too silly.
I always think your user names say potlicking. :)

Brenosa Inc/Designs/etc (Bren-o-sa)
Esme Rose Inc/Designs/etc
B.R.E. Inc/Designs/etc (standing for Brenna Rose Esme, but said like Brie/Bree)
MerCat Inc/Designs/etc
it's funny you said your nn is Merbie, because i was looking at the BRE part, then trying to incorporate your name, & came up with Merbre or Merbie haha.

Esme Lace?
E R B?
I'unno, I have preoccupation with using lace in names nowadays. XD It goes so well with the crocheting thing, and associated with wedding gowns? And Meredith could be Merry?
I really like Esme Rose, though. :3
