My husband and I have been looking over baby names for awhile, and we've got our choices pretty much narrowed down but I'm having a hard time getting the name Lulu out of my head, even though it's not one of our choices.

I LOVE the nickname Lulu, but I just can't see it as a stand-alone name, so I'm trying to come up with a name that can use Lulu as a nickname.

My favorite is Tallulah, but my husband can't stand it, so I was wondering if you guys had any other suggestions for us?

Lulu is a cute nickname for Lucy. I also know a Lauren who went by Lulu.

Pretty much anything that starts with an L.

I've also heard Lulu used for Elizabeth. As an Elizabeth, that seems strange to me, but I think I like it--it's too bad I'm too old to suddenly change nicknames!

Luke and Laura's daughter on General Hospital is named Lesley Lu but goes by Lulu. I like Lulu, too, but I'd probably use it for Lucy.

Tallulah is an awesome name!! I would go with that, but I think Lucy, Lucia, and Lousia would work as well. :)
