I dislike the different spelling for Rebekah. Probably because my name is Rebecca and people constantly ask what way to spell it.

behindthename.com says that Rebekah is Hebrew, while Rebecca is English, Italian, & Swedish. i think both variations appear in the bible, though.

Erm, behindthename.com doesn't know what it's talking about in this case...in Hebrew the name is Rivka. Rebecca and Rebekah are the same name, just spelled differently.
