What do you think of Indah?
It is a female Indonesian name that means 'beautiful'.

I think I like it. I love the name India but am not keen on the fact it's the name on a country! And I love the nickname Indy/Indie, too.

I think it's very pretty and original. If I met someone with that name I would probably compliment them on it.

This reminds me of the fact that I used to have the name 'Indrah' on my list! Wow, I had totally forgotten about that name. I like that better than Indah, though I don't hate the name Indah =). And it has a great meaning!

I really like it. I'm also a fan of the name India, though. The only problem I have with India is that my boyfriend is half middle eastern (and pretty noticeably so), but his family is not from India. It just seems...odd to me. I think Indah is a nice name with an India feel, but without the association.

I like it, but only if you're Indonesian. I'm not a fan of using obviously ethnic names if you don't have some connection to that ethnicity.

I'm concerned with people mistaking that his family is from India based on the name. This would happen whether or not it's in the middle east, which I was pretty aware of. My boyfriend's family IS from the middle east, NOT India.
