Could see myself doing that, though of course I'm enough of a name obsessive to keep seperate lists for 'companion animal names' and 'human names'.
There isn't actually a lot of diffrent between the two, I don't really like 'pets names' (e.g Fluffy, Lucky, Rover etc), so will give my animals names that it wouldn't be too outlandish to bestow on children either.
