WDYT of Amulet as a name?

WDYT of the sib set Amulet and Anoushka?

Does the name Amulet seem more appropriate for a girl or a boy to you?

I love Anoushka but I don't like Amulet at all. I would prefer it on a boy if I had to chose though. It sounds masculine to me even though it ends in 'let', which I usually associate with females.

Amulet is an interesting name, but I can't imagine it on a real person. I'm not a big fan of Anoushka, or sibets with alliteration, so I don't like how that one sounds.

Amulet sounds more like a girl's name to me, due to the lette sound. I really don't see it on a boy.

Amulet.. it definitely sounds like a girl name.
But I'm not sure how I feel about using it as a person's name.
It sounds cheesy for a middle name, so hmm I don't know.

Amulet and Anoushka are not well paired imo.
Amulet is an 'out there' name, it's the name of an object, and Anoushka is a legit dutch name, their origins are too different.

I don't much like Amulet. I like the ulet sound like in juliet kind of. I think I just like when L's lead into Et's...wow that looks strange.

Anouschka does not seem more masculine to me but I think I have a bias. My favorite purses are made by Anouschka and I've never heard the name before I found these purses so I directly link it with female/purse. It's a unique name that I like on it's own but it would probably suck for a kid with it.

Amulet doesn't work on either. It just doesn't sound like a name at all. You may as well name your kid Necklace.

I usually like -let(te) names, but I don't like this one. I'm not exactly sure why, because I like a lot of noun names too =P
Anyway...if it has to be used as a name, I'd say it would be better on a girl.
The sibset Amulet & Anoushka looks crazy to me. Although generally I don't care if sibset names don't match, I do care this time. Amulet is so out of place next to Anoushka.

Amulet is definitely for a girl, but I don't like it at all.
Anoushka on the other hand I think is adorable, but maybe that's just because it rhymes with baboushka, and I do love me some bundled up baboushkas. haha.
