WTF of the day (for me anyways)

I had bad insomnia last night and was flipping through the channles sometime between 3-4 am and saw the show 'roomraiders' on mtv, which I didn't even know still aired. 

Anyways. One of the girls that got 'kidnapped so they could search her room' was named (no joke) Raisins...not Raisin....Raisins

I have no words....

Nope, I'm positive it was Raisins. She even said "Hi my name is Raisins" and the name came on the screen spelled just like I'm spelling it.

I highly suspect it was a nickname that's used so often she considers it her name now :). The same way if her name was Jenny, and everyone called her Jenny, she wouldn't introduce herself as Jennifer :).

I knew a girl named Skates. Obviously not her real name, but I don't even remember her real name, everyone called her Skates :). Same with a guy named Banjo.

I know a woman named Pepper. She is about 30 and it is her given name. I would think she might go by Patricia or something professionally, but everyone calls her Pepper.

So, while Raisins is probably a permanent nickname, like Miley Cyrus, it could be her given name.

My name is Raisa (raysuh).
And I ALWAYS get Raisin, as a nickname for me.
I don't mind it actually, because it's better than them mispronouncing my real name.
