Alannah Elizabeth

Alannah Leslie

We plan to call her Ally for short, but her given name will be Alannah.  Do either of these middle names work?  They are both family names, so I would like to use one.  But maybe I should come up with a different one?

I like the name, but I'd spell it Alana. Alannah looks like too many unnecessary letters when it's normally spelled Alana.

I think Alana Leslie sounds better. Alana Elizabeth flows together too much.

I think Leslie is a beautiful name. Elizabeth is used too much..
so, I prefer Leslie over Elizabeth.. plus I think Allanah Leslie sounds beautiful. And I love the name Allanah, by the way. =)

Thanks everyone! It seems pretty evenly split....Elizabeth is my middle name and my mom's middle name, so it would be nice to carry the tradition. However, my Uncle Les(lie) passed away last year at the time my baby is due, so I thought it would be nice to honor him. I think Alannah Leslie Elizabeth MacDougall would be too long though!
