GAYDEN


Thing is, this name belongs to an older adult, so Gayden's parents weren't following the current "Den" trend. 

Honestly....I can live with Hayden or Jayden (although ridiculously overused), but GAYDEN? Ugh.

Blah, Gayden is what one of my co-workers is threatening to call our son if we use the name Hayden...

(the name is not my choice, although I don't hate it, but our use of it depends on if my fiancé's sister-in-law takes our name or not)

It's probably an old family name. The 'negative' connotations of 'gay' are quite recent. There are people in my family tree with the last named Gayer, and they named one of their sons Gayer. It's funny now, but back then, it was a fine name.

I know a 50ish year old woman called Gay.

It would suck going through high school today with a name liket hat though.
