A teacher at my school had a baby boy.
They didn't find out the sex and decided whether or not the baby was a boy or girl, its name would be Anderson.

They named him Anderson James.

I actually kind of like it (though Anderson is a little too trendy-sounding for me) and for the baby's sake, I am relieved it wasn't born a girl.

I personally am a fan of unisex names.
But Anderson just screams 'male!' to me. And it sounds very surname-ish too. I quite like it on boys though =)

I like Anderson for a boy, but for a girl? Yuck! I'm glad it was a boy, too! I like Anderson James.

If I'm not mistaken, Anderson is Andie McDowell's first name. As a whole name, I prefer Anderson to Andrew...but I hate Andy as a nn and with Anderson you lose Drew as a nn.

I like Anderson James!

I knew a little girl named Anderson way back when. She went by Andi. I think it's not as terrible as some other girl names, but it's definitely better suited for a boy.
