I wrote a little bit ago trying to change my name. I really like Wren but I was wondering if anyone could think of something Wren could be short for, as I'd prefer something a bit longer. But not Lauren. too many Laurens in my life. Or Erin, either.

And for those who can't remember or who haven't seen it, here's

the only suggestions i have are with Wren spelled Ryn or Rin..

Aeryn (i prefer this spelling although you said you didn't want this name)
Kathryn
Taryn
Corinne (nn Rin)

I would even use Ryn as a nn for Rowan

It's a bit of a stretch, but what about Winifred?

(You're very pretty, BTW!)

The lady I worked for in DC named Wren was just that - Wren. It wasn't short for anything.

But, let's see... Arwen, Darren, Corwin?

I like Wren as a name by itself.

Rowena or Rowan, perhaps?

How about Karen or Taryn?

On an unrelated note, your hair is so cool in all of those pics! I dig your style!

How about Ren as short for Renard?
It's the word for 'fox' in french :) I think it would suit you!
Renardine could mean 'little fox', if you want to make it more feminine.

Otherwise, you could stick to Renée and go by either Ren or Wren

I love Wren, it's simple, it's unusual, it's pretty and it sounds happy.

I love the number three picture, even though all of them are great!!

If you pick the name Wren you have to lose the Hawks shirt!

I agree with the poster who said you look like a Taryn. That was the first one that popped into my head, too.

(also, that wedding picture is fantastic!)

Hmmm, Taryn, Kathryn (though, as a Katherine, that spelling makes my eye twitch), Karen, Daryn, or just Wren.

I actually think Wren on its own suits you so well - much better than any of the other names suggested that could be shortened to Wren.

And I love the septum ring on you. You have like the same size ring as I do in my septum, I love it :D

And Wren is on my list, too. So I pretty much think you have good taste ;]

I was one of those who suggested Wren the first time around. I think it fits you perfectly, and I wouldn't try to make it a longer name. Maybe you could make up for it with a longer middle name.

Bronwyn is a longer name that hasn't been mentioned, with simliar sounds as Wren. I still think Wren fits you best.

I usually don't like y's in names, but I've got to say, like some other people have said, you DO look like a Taryn.
