[identity profile] kimber-leigh.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames

i went to school with sisters (well, they were actually half sisters..) named:

Holly Wood
Honey Graham

(those are just first and last names.. i don't know their middle names, as they never used them.. )

i bet the mom thought she really lucked out finding husbands with those last names so she could be SO clever in the naming of her daughters..  (snark intended)  ;P

Does Honey have a brother named Theodore? He'd be Teddy Graham!

Holly is a good first name, Wood is a good last name, but Holly Wood? Not so much.

I think I'm missing something culture specific in the other name, unless Graham refers to Graham crackers. (?)

Names like Honey Graham should be reserved for James Bond's bitches.

Some people are cruel, and need to get a life.

An elementary school friend of mine...her last name was Ball, and originally her dad wanted to name her either Crystal or Snow. He should have stuck with that. Her name ended up being Galexina Sue. She went by Susie.

Also, my friend Tracy...her mom said if she could do it all again, she'd have named her kids Charlie, Molly, and Murphey. Give ya three guesses what her last name is?

Brown? *scratches head* The cultural significance is lost on me, as usual. :/
