How do you pronounce Eamon?

Ay-min?
Ay-mon?
Ee-min?
Ee-mon?

The tally so far:
14 people say AY-mon/min/mun
7 people say EE-mon/min/mun

ETA: So apparently the general consensus is Ay-mun/min/mon but sometimes Ee-mun/min/mon. Awesome. haha. =P

Ay-min (or mon, when I say them both out loud, they sound very similar)

I would say Ee-mon, but that sounds...wrong
If that's the right way: horrors!

"ee-mon" is how I've always heard it pronounced. It was on my name list for a bit, but my husband nixed it :P

Ay-min, although my co-worker Eamonn would pronounce it a-MEN.

*ay-MEN

He thinks "ee-mon" sounds gross.

Ay-mon. The more I repeat it now, the more it sounds like Amen.

It's traditionally pronounced Ay-min (or mon/mun - the empahsis is on the AY not EE). It's going to be my first son's name (Eamonn)
