Sib-sets

We talk a lot about the sib-sets we know, so what are the names + middle names of YOUR own sib-set? (Or the set of names of your children?)

Any particular themes? Letters? Trends particular to the year of birth?

Names of my sib-set to start us off:

Dale Steven (1978), Brendan Charles (1983), Martyna Rozalia (me! 1987), Kirstyn Kim (1991), Zachary John (1992)

Btw, we're a blended family hence the similar ages and age gaps, therefore no particular themes I think :)

My sister is Koreen Marie (75) and I'm Kristina Elizabeth. No real "theme" there, except for the "K".

My sister had twins a month ago and their names are Heidi Elizabeth and Gretchen Elyse. <3 I love their names. :)

Samantha Courtney (1988), Bailey Nicole (1994), Morgan Alexandra (1995)

I'm definately a product of the eighties. There wasn't much of a theme going on, really, but I think all of our names go together well. I'm the only one to go by a nickname - 'Sam' - but my parents don't call me that.

I like that none of us have the same initialis and that our names do not end or begin with any common letters or sounds.

Neva Egan was my grandmother's name, so it fit well, which is how we got our middle names.

lol funny story. my siblings and i have very...interesting names, as far as when they are put next to one another.
Heather Aileen (35)
Amy Christine (31)
Timothy James (26)
Erin Kathleen (me, 22)

Note first that the middle names of all the girls rhyme: Aileen, Christine, Kathleen.
Note also that the first initials of the first names (in chronological order) spell out H-A-T-E.
My parents deny any conscious knowledge of either of these things and claim that they are purely coincidental. I still wonder, though...

Oh and now that my husband and I are expecting #2, we have been considering a couple of H-names but I had the realization that we would be an anagram of HATE once again. My husband is Andrew, I am Erin, and our son is Travis. But since we really like this one particular H-name right now, I am just going to pretend I didn't have this realization!

Alison Sandra (1988)
Sarah Louise (1990)

No theme, other than our middle names being after our grandmothers.

If we had been boys, we would have been Alexander Andre and Paul Mark, or Alexander Mark and Paul Andre.

Jessica Maree ('86)
Jamie Kenneth ('88)
Matthew Francis ('93)

Nothing overly special about our names except they are all popular (if you consider Jamie a variation of James).

Our middle names are for my mother and grandfathers.

My siblings and I are Alyssa Jeane (me, 1986), Amanda Mae "Mandee" (1989) and Kevin Todd (1993). Yeah I don't really notice a theme with us. Although I believe Alyssa and Amanda are VERY popular for sisters. I've heard of multiple sisters with these names, and also a Mary Kate and Ashley movie ;-)

My grandpa's siblings' first initials all spell AMEN. They are Arvin (I had to look him up on Ancestry.com though because I wasn't completely sure if it was Arvin or Arlo), Marlen, ElRoy and Norman.

My sister and I are dead boring, so I'll give you my Indonesian host family's names - in order of birth:

Arumsari
Bramantyas
Cakrabumi
Dewanto

Geddit? A-D. I was 'child' #5.. we jokingly changed the spelling of my name so that it began with an 'E'.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. Even the dog, Calvin! I actually pushed for Colton instead of Grady, so he wouldn't be left out.

Jennifer Joyce (1986), Stacey Michelle* (1989), Alexander Carl Robert (1993), Gabrielle Amelia (1997), Guenther Stanislaus (1999), Lucy Michele* (2004), Chloe Grace Maria-Cecilia.

*means that they're my dad's other two kids, the others are all half-siblings from my mother. No real theme and we're spread out over nineteen years and ten months.

also a blended family :)

jennifer michelle (1985)
lawrence joseph (1988)
christopher brian (1989)
randy james (1990)

no big theme, i don't think. longer names, until randy.

my son is:
ryan james clark lastname

my next child will also have the clark in their name, as a second middle name. so that will be a theme.

& with my cousins:

Michael James
John Ryan

theme- just named after family members.

Cameron Shane
Kylee Mae

theme- they wanted to have the C/K sound for both kids, but didn't want to spell it Cailee or something, hence Kylee. & the middle names are both after family.

Catherine Cory (1981), Kristen Elizabeth (1987), Caitlin Lee (1999). My family obvio likes names starting with the K sound and ending with N.

Robert Daniel (Danny)- 85
Megan Leanne - 88

Robert is a family name, it's my Dad's name and his Dad's name and so on. My Dad is Robert Alexander and he goes by Sandy (does that make sense..I don't think it does)

Leanne (my middle name) comes from my Mom's parents who are named Leonard and Anne. But I think that was maybe an accident and my parents realized later. lol.

Anyway, no, no particular themes or anything like that.
