Kreston just seems wrong to me... And it makes me think of crusty. Or Krusty from the Simpsons. Either way, I don't like it. And what would a nn be? Daelan makes me think of really bad form of Dylan, even a feminized version or something, like day and lynn. Samuel is a good solid name IMO.
I think the name as a whole flows well and sounds good when said outloud, but there is no way i would name my own child that. Hmm... whats with people these days?
what the hell is UP with people making up names? oh i know! lets take a perfectly fine name and change the first letter! thats a GREAT idea! ick people. just ick. arent there enough real names to choose from? seriously.
On a desperate google search for meaning, I found out from an explanation of a company's name that: "The name ‘Kreston’ was taken from the ancient Greek word meaning ‘Trust’ or ‘Faith’" So I like that meaning, but not really the name which reminds me of Crest toothpaste, or a mutated version of Christian, or Kryton... it's funny how the mind wanders. All I could find on Daelan was: "Rhyming variant of Waylon - a historical blacksmith with supernatural powers." but on looking that up, the mythical supernatural blacksmith was actually Wayland so who knows?
