My niece, Marie, is 8 years old. She was telling me last night about her best girlfriends: Allie, Britney, Brandy, Casey and Logan. It amazed me to think of how uncommon any of these names would be when I was growing up! My classrooms were filled with Jennifers and Nicoles. I think her little girl group has amazingly cute names.

On another note, I recently learned of a mother named Tia who has a daughter named Mia. *gag*

I had lots of Jennifers and Nicoles, but I also had several Brandys and one or two Britneys. I think I graduated with one Casey, actually, but maybe that's a fluke. Definitely no Logans or Allies.

I'm surprised by Britney and Brandy... that was definitely an 80s trend. Surprising to see people are still naming their kids that.

I like Allie and Casey, but Logan is WAY too masculine to be used on girls, I think, and I'm not a fan of Brandy or Britney.

I had several Britneys and Brandy/Brandis in my class and I was born in the mid 80's. Personally, I don't think any of the names you mentioned (besides Marie!) sounds very nice on a girl....

There were two Jennifers in my class, no Nicoles (but some in the grade below me), no Allies (but one Ali), and no Britneys or Brandys in the entire school. There were Caseys and Logans in the grades above and below me but they were all boys.
